How long is too long?
Tuesday, September 30th, 2008It’s not like I’ve had a lot to post about so give me a break will ya? Seriously, not much to say and too busy to say nothing, hence the video posts. I have to keep my readers entertained. Wes and I just got back from a little weekend getaway to Houston, TX. Did a little shopping, and resting and took in a ball game. We’ve been holding on to Braves / Astros tickets since March ( my birthday) and finally got to use them this weekend.

As you can see, were were sitting next to the foul pole, hoping to catch some foul balls, but no such luck. Maybe next time. Going to a game and cheering for the visiting team was a new experience for me. There were a few other Braves fans in the crowd, but none sitting near me, so when I clapped or cheered, I got dirty looks. So, I tried to hold my excitement in. Braves won 11-5, so I was very happy about that.

While we were in Houston, we found this awesome waterfall thing. Sort of a semi-circle of water running inside and out. It was nice and cool on the inside. Nice escape on a hot day. You can see Wes enjoying some Jamba Juice near the water.

But back home, things are pretty much back to normal life. Been playing with Kayla. I am so much enjoying her at this age. She is so curious and it amazes me how fast she learns new things. She never stops, she has three speeds: fast, faster and sleep. She loves to play outside, and so do I, ( less things for her to get into). And since the weather has been so nice, we’re able to go out more.

I had to bring her today to get her 18 month shots. She wasn’t too happy about it either. I think she is at the point where she remembers the Dr.’s office now. Once we got into the patient room, she clung to me and would not let go. At least now she doesn’t have to get any more shots until after she is 2.
I’ll leave you with one more picture since I haven’t posted in about a month
Check out the rest of the pictures from our trip.
