I know its an old video, but its funny so watch it again!!! Man, Wes and I have done a whole lot of nothing this weekend and I think were gonna do more of the same today. Yesterday was his B-day, no cake, but we did have this outrageously chocolate cookie at CC’S coffee. This thing had too much chocolate in it, and this coming for the chocoholic. If you are one of those people that enjoys sitting at your local coffee shop for hours like my husband, then good for you. I however am not one of them. I probably looked like a 5 year old in there yesterday, I brought a book and my Nintendo DS and was still bored out of my mind. We spent a grueling 2 hours in there. My complaint is that if this business knows their customers are going to be sitting there for long periods of time, they should invest in more comfortable seating. I survived though, still alive.

While we were out and about, I managed to drag Wes to Babies R Us to get a few more things for the nursery. The room is done, I just can’t stop fiddling with it, I just can’t wait to have my little Kayla in there. Official days to her much anticipated arrival…40.

I’m sittin here at work on a Saturday, seriously bored. Not that I am wishing for a rush of customers or anything. I am just wishing for the time to pass quickly. The good thing is that this is probably my 2nd to last Saturday I will ever have to work. Hallelujah!!! I am so looking forward to retirement. No big plans for the weekend. Just ready to go home and chill.

My Dr.’s apointment went good on Wednesday. Doc put me on medicne to control my sugar level while I’m asleep. I’m not thriled about that. Took it last night and when I got up this morning, my sugar was 71. I’m not a doctor or anything, but I don’t think thats very healthy either. I think I will ask the Dr. on Monday if I should cut the pills in half or something. Got too see little Kayla though, he did another sonagram. Only 48 more days till my due date. Have a great weekend!

Sorry, I don’t have anything to talk about. Wes is giving me a hard time for not updating my blog. Well I’m sorry my life isn’t as exciting as his, I don’t have a new programing language or car part to write about every day. Just kidding. Not much going on though. Has a great weekend, had some boiled crawfish from Montablanos’s on Florida Blvd. They were awesome. If you haven’t eaten there yet, give them a try. Its a local seafood market / resturant. They have awesome poboys and eitouffet. Other than that, we stayed home and vegged out. Which is usually my favorite thing to do on the weekend anyway. This week I started working part-time. I am super thrilled about that. I was getting burnt out working 40 hours a week. Don’t judge me, I’m not lazy, I’m Pregnant. Going to get another sonagram tomorrow. I’ll get to see little Kayla Ratcliff. Maybe I’ll post a picture for the world to see.

Yesterday was my ( Kayla’s) baby shower. It was a lot of fun, we had a great turnout. There was plenty of food and I got to see people I haven’t seen in a while. It was almost a family reunion. My Mom and Aunt Linda got together on it and did a wonderful job. We played some hillarious games, Aunt Linda is always the master of party games. And I got a lot of great stuff for Kayla. She already has a full wardrobe up to 9 months. There was so much food left over, I don’t have to cook for the Superbowl.
